DV-Sports is pleased to present its latest version of real-time, on-the-fly, video recording software.  Our DV-Replay software allows you to digitally record video directly to your laptop hard drive.

Our software also allows the used to associate statistical data with the video clip you are about to record. The data sets are on-the-fly user definable for personal preference and convenience.  For further technical explanation see “How it all works” at the end of page two.

For an example in Football you can record the following data sets for every play of the game:
  • Team name and opponent’s name  
  • Current: Score, quarter, down
  • Yard line the ball is on
  • Team is offense or defense
  • Play call
  • Quarterback name
  • Special teams
  • Penalty assessment
  • (This is just eight of the twenty user definable data sets)

DV-Replay Recording Software Module
DV-Replay recording software has a diverse range of applications, such as interscholastic and professional sporting events, law office deposition training, motion picture stunt training, etc.

Recording hardware (camcorder and laptop) and DV-Replay recording software can be purchased as complete package or you may use your existing hardware.  The standard DV-Replay recording software package includes one sports module and three coaches. Additional sports modules may be purchased at anytime.

DV-Replay recording software is designed to allow the coaches to determine what data parameters they would like to see recorded with each video file.  There are twenty major data parameter switches that can be labeled to each coach’s preference.

Each of the twenty dated parameter switches when opened provides an additional 110 data option parameters totaling 2,200 data parameters.

Playback Software Module

 DV-Replay software allows coaches and players to recall previously recorded video, based on certain game situations or events that took place during the game. For example, in football the Offensive coach may wish to view only the offensive plays in which it was third down. He can quickly review all such plays without fast forwarding through the rest of the offensive plays. For individual coaching he can replay only the plays that a particular player was involved in.

DV-Sports will provide with three copies of our DV-Playback software at no charge. Our DV-Replay software is also available as a stand alone module which may be purchased separately enabling many different players and coaches the ability to sort video data and playback critical play situations.

The DV-Playback software allows the viewer to set the start point and the end point of each video clip. The cropping of the video allows the viewer the option of watching just the significant action of each video clip. The viewer can select the loop playback feature allowing the viewer to watch the video clip over and over. The playback speed can be slowed from 1/20 to 1/50 of the normal speed. The viewer may also pause the video clip anytime in the video sequence and advance or reverse the video clip one frame at a time.

‘How it all works”

This is accomplished using standard camcorders with a firewire out put.  A fire wire cable is connected from your cameras fire wire output to the laptop firewire input. Full DV Quality recording at 30 frames per second and a screen resolution size of 720 X 480
