DV-Sports is pleased to present its latest version of real-time, on-the-fly, video recording software.  Our DV-Replay software allows you to digitally record video directly to your laptop hard drive.

Our software also allows the used to associate statistical data with the video clip you are about to record. The data sets are on-the-fly user definable for personal preference and convenience.  For further technical explanation see “How it all works” at the end of page two.

Recording Software Module
Our software has Rang of applications, from law office deposition training, Motion picture stunt training to the Interscholastic and professional sport training.

All hardware and software can be purchased as complete packages. Or you may use your existing camcorder and laptop.  The Basic System comes complete with one sports module. Additional sports modules may be purchased at a later date.

 For an example for Football you can record the following data with each play of the game.

The following data sets may be recorded for every play of the game
  • Team name and opponent’s Team name  
  • The Score
  • The Quarter
  • Your team is offense or defense
  • Which down is it?
  • The yard line the ball is on
  • (This is just six of the twenty user definable data sets)

    The software is designed to allow the coaches to decide what data parameters they would like to see recorded with each video file.  There are twenty available data parameter switches that can be labeled to each coach’s preference. Each one of the twenty dated perimeters switches is opened you didn’t have the option of entering or selecting up to 120 additional data perimeters.  This gives you a grand total of over 2,200 individual perimeters using the playback software. 

     Playback Software Module

     The software allows coaches and players to recall previously recorded video, based on certain situations or events that took place during the game. For instance, in football the Offensive coach may wish to recall only the offensive plays where it was third and long. 

    We will provide your coaching staff with several copies of our Playback software at no charge. Our Playback software is also available as a stand alone module which may be purchased separately enabling many different players and coaches the ability to sort video data and playback critical play situations.

    The playback software allows the user to set the start point and the end point of every video clip. The cropping of the video allows the viewer the option of watching just the significant action of each video clip. The user may also select the loop playback feature which will allow the player or coach to watch the video clip over and over. The user may also slow the video playback speed from 1/20 to 1/50 of the normal speed. The user may also pause the video clip anytime in the video sequence and advance the video clip one frame at a time or reverse play at one frame at a time. 

    The Basic System comes complete with one sports module. Additional sports modules may be purchased at a later date.

     ‘How it all works”This is accomplished using a standard camcorders with a firewire out put.  A fire wire cable is connected from your cameras fire wire output to the laptop firewire input.  This is all accomplished at Full DV Quality at a full 30 frames per second and a screen resolution size of 720 X 480.
